At Rydaholms school, we offer you a stimulating job in a multicultural school with dedicated and competent staff. Throughout the school year, we continue the professional development for staff regarding language development strategies and reading and writing instruction. Through our quality work, we aim to increase students' reading comprehension, safety, study environment, and motivation to learn.

Rydaholms school has about 180 students, and in the school area, there is also Horda school, which has about 90 students. Both schools are primary schools with students from preschool to grade 6.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a qualified teacher, and you will work as a class teacher. You will be responsible for and plan the teaching for the students, participate in parent contacts, collaborate with other teachers at the school, and as a class teacher, you will conduct development talks. You will also participate in subject networks and professional development.

Qualifications

Teaching certification for the relevant stage. Experience in teaching or other experience working/interning in schools is advantageous, even if you are qualified in multiple subjects. You should have a good understanding of the school's mission and governing documents. You should possess reputable leadership qualities. We place a high emphasis on knowledge of additional adaptations and documentation in working with students.

Knowledge in early mathematics learning is advantageous. We prefer that all our teachers are qualified in the subjects of Swedish and Swedish as a second language and have documented good knowledge in reading and writing instruction. Furthermore, you should have good IT skills and be accustomed to using digital tools in your daily work.

Personal suitability is crucial for the appointment of the position.
